H1 Fulltime to part time

Hello,

I am here on H1B, however my contract which expired on June 30, 2005 was not renewed. I received a job offer from the same department but another subdivison, only thing is the job is part time and for 3 months. The job description is basically the same. Do I have to file for a new H1B visa? What about my spouse (H4)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If the job is for the same corporation , you can continue to work another 3 more months

What about my spouse (H4)? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
