H1, Eb2, Phd

I have a US master degrees and now i am in the Phd program. I just finsished my internship at a company during summer. Hopefully they will offer me a job. If they do i might leave Phd and work . But they dont know anything about H1. But they are willing to support with any documents. How do i is start from here to get H1. Do i need to hire a lawyer and also in future, if i want them to file for green card in EB2 cat ( since i have masters) , what are the things i need them to do for me in advance.

How good it is to have Phd to get a green card faster without having much papers published

You can not file H1 now. YOu have to wait for April 1 next year to submit the application, and you have to wait for Oct 1 next year to start working on H1.
All the document you need, you can search on google.

Most probably PhD alone won't help much for EB2. Master is good enough for EB2 IF your job is required Master degree.
