H1B stamping went very smoothly

Tax returns for previous years, if any
Recent pay stubs, bank statements for last 3 to 4 months, employment verification
School transcripts, diplomas
All US immigration documents such as all previous I20’s, approval notices (I-797s)
Manager contact info (preferably a visiting card)
Appointment letter for the interview
Process:
We don’t need a visa to mexico, just park the car at the last US exit and walk across the border. There are 2 metal doors & Taxi cab drivers will approach and take you to the US consulate for $6 USD.
The bank is 15min walk from the consualte & opens at 9am. It is across the plaza rio mall. After getting the application fee recipt ($107) come back to the consulate in a cab ($2 or 3) & show the gaurd the appt. letter. He will let u in. Inside there was a person who was guiding H1B people to a counter.
It happened very fast, my appt was at 10:00 & i finished the interview & was out by 9:45a.m! After that we went to watch a movi at the mall across the banamex bank. Before i realized evrything was done. The Visa officer asked me questions abt my company products, my job duties, my previous job, my graduate school & then asked me to collect the passport at 3pm (no need to pay another fee).
Evening collected the passport & went to the border. Here at the port of entry building it took more than an hour to get new I94 (we pay $6 here) & the immigration officer asked a few q's abt my job, company. Then went to the customs. That's it back to US again.
I was very nervous but it all went very smoothly.
