H1-B visa stamping in Germany for Indian Citizen

Hi,

I am from India and currently working in Germany.
One of the employer in USA has offered me a job in USA.

My Employer will sponser my H1 visa. After H1 visa is approved by INS, can I get H1-B visa stamped at US consulate in Germany or do I need to go to my home country India.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

you can get it from germany. Ask your employer to do a consular notification and to mention Berlin (or the relevant consulate) instead of an indian consulate. Anticipate and plan for the usual delays in the approval times...
