hello,

My h1 b visa expires in a few months. I have another 3 years remaining out of 6.
What documents are needed by my employer to file for an extension of my h1b visa?

What is the process for applying for an h1b visa extension?
Does my employer need to do the full process of h1b visa?

Any help would be appreciated.

What is the process for applying for an h1b visa extension?
---- your employer need to get NEW LCA from DOL (can get in 2-4 days) and he has to fill up form I-129 and pay the USCIS fees ( your company lawyer knows what to write on cover letter)lawer
Does my employer need to do the full process of h1b visa?
--employer hires the lawyer and lawyer will file H1 extension before your I-94 expires with CIS
