H1 B- Transfer

Hi,
    I am staying in US in H1-B visa. Now, I got another job and I wish to move to this company. Can I transfer my current H1-B. If so, please tell me Do I need to get permission (or some documents) from present employer?
Also I wanted to know, where can I get information about H1-B transfer. Any information will be vey useful.

All you have to do is ask the new company to do the transfer. Give this new company your resume, past paystubs and present H1 document copy. Employer has to do the extension , you cannot file it yourself.
