H1 B Transfer question ( URGENT )

I have applied for H1 Transfer from company A to B in Aug 2005,

Approval is still pending. I have 3 paystub from B, Can I apply another transfer to company C while my B's transfer approval is still pending. I have B's EAC number and don't have the INS receipt notice.
I have all the paystubs from B and approval notice of A and the required paystubs of A.

Any valid iputs will be highly appreciated.

What if Company A cancels the H1B visa that it holds? Can I still be able to apply for a transfer to Company C (Company B's H1B is still pending).

One more H1 Transfer question

Hi Friends,
I need some vital inouts from you.
I am also in the same boat as you.I have applied for a H1 Transfer - But for some reason i still feel that the new employer might be having links with the old employer and internally within them they never did any H1 Transfer.What documents are strong proof that such an application has been filed.What should drive the horses home and make me feel secure.
One of my friends said that if he can give you an EAC# it should be good enough.
Pl. provide your inputs.

Application Receipt

Technically the employer should give you the ORIGINAL receipt that came from USCIS. That is your document and not the employers. You can boldy ask for the receipt and that should be a enough proof for you whether they have applied for transfer or not
Just some EAC will not suffice, because if you go online it does not give you a lot of details
Again this is my personal opinion, you got to carefully ask the receipt from your employer
