H1-B transfer issue

Hi,

I just got my LC approved and about to file my 140. But I noticed some issue related to my H1-B transfer back in 2004. The following are the events in time order:

a) In beginning of Jun.2004, I got a job offer from Company A. A sent out the H1-B transfer package before Jun.12 (Saturday), 2004. Then they told me the transfer was filed and I could join them right away. So I joined them on Jun.14 (Monday), 2004.
b) On Jun.15, 2004, USCIS returned the application package to A, saying that there are some minor issue with form I-129W, and asked A to re-file everything with a copy of the USCIS letter
c) On Jun.28, 2004, A re-filed the application, according to instruction in b)
d) USCIS established a receipt date of Jul.6 and approved the transfer on Nov.8, 2004.
e) On Mar.15, 2006, USCIS received my 7-year H1B extension and approved it on Jun.15,2006

I didn’t know anything other than a) until long after. A told me I’m totally ok, but I’m not so sure about that, especially now A cannot find the original Post Office receipt for the initial filing before Jun.12. Also there’s this re-filing process. So my question is:

Did I work illegally with the above process? And if there’s issue, is there a way to resolve it?

I think you are OK.
You have maintained your legal status and not out of status. All others thing never come into play.
