H1 and H4 Extension

I am in my 9th year H1. My AOS is pending. My H1 is valid until September 2009. I am planning to apply for H1 extension thru my company (the same who filed for my GC).
Though I have my valid EAD, I never worked on that. My daughter who is 17 years old got her EAD and working parttime in an institute.

The questions is.. Can I apply for daughters H4 extension also along with my H1 this year? If yes, I would like to apply for it and send her to India for H4 stamping this year Do I have to accompany her for stamping in India (Hyderabad) or Can i give my H1 approval to her and ger H4 stamped in India?

The reason for having her stamped is because she need to travel in and out (India & US) in next couple of years and dont want to get into hassle of applying for parole and waiting for it..

------------------------ if you apply for H4 extension with USCIS then her H4 extension approval may take 4-5 months and extra fee to be paid to USCIS. if she is going to India BEFORE her I-94 expiry date then no need to apply for H4 extension she goes to India and can get H4 extension based on your H1 status.

--------------------- I would say that better she apply for AP and once her AP gets approved she goes out of US and can get H4 visa stamp from US consulate. ( Having approved AP is back up plan if any problem in H4 visa stamp)

Thanks for the information. She already have approved AP until November 2009. Due to my vacation issue, I will not be able to go to India along with her during summer. Can she go alone to the US consulate in India and get it stamped (She is 17 year old)
