H1 and H4 extension

I know that I can apply for H1 extension, but what about H4 for my spouse.

She is working on EAD and used AP to enter USA.
--------------if she is working with EAD then she is not on H4 status. I have seen many cases of H4 extension filing in your wife situation and getting approved.

I know that I can apply for H1 extension, but what about H4 for my spouse. She is working on EAD and used AP to enter USA.
What USCIS needs is the fee for renewal of your wife's H4 and will get approved despite in fact by using EAD is not H4 even with that fake approval. My opinion is not to apply for her H4 renewal since she is using EAD and any time she want to quite working and go back to H4, just apply for her at that time and by pending I-485 she will be in legal stay with or without EAD, with or without H4
