Hello Ginnu and AndyGarcia

I called Victor Garcia and explained my situation. As of now he does not operate in Nuevo Laredo., but he is traveling to Nuevo Laredo to see the possibilities to extend his services. He could be helpful in getting the INS fee receipt from the bank at this time. He will have updates on Monday from his trip to Nuevo Laredo.

To my surprise, I could find one of my collegiate working in Laredo, TX. So he will find out the details and let me know today. Any updates will be posted.

Did you get your visa revalidated?

Also i heard that visa revalidation in Chennai, India is taking more than 2-3 months as of now. Is it true?

Did not get the VISA

Hello Saneesh

I could not get my kids visa stamped. Victor Garcia went to Laredo for the Mexican permit, but was not able to get. The Mexican authorities said that they do not give permits for consular visits and must apply for visit visa, which takes 4 to 6 weeks to process. But Victor said his services are still available at El Paso, where Mexican authorities still issue permits. He said no chance near Brownsville and Laredo US consulates.

I alone went to Laredo and went to US consulate with Kid’s passports and they refused to stamp VISA, insisting that kids must present at consulate.

I have no idea about the visa process/timings in Chennai. If the visa process is taking 2 to 3 mos, then it is painful.

Sorry being late..

How was your interview at Laredo, Mexico? Did u get it stamped? Why dont you take your kids to Ciuad*** in Mexico near to El Paso and do it? In Chennai they are delaying it so much that you may not even have the job when you come back. Some people are getting it on the same day too and its purely depends on the discretion of the officer there.

H1 & H4 stamping in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico

I would like to share my experience in stamping the visa with everyone and just want to tell you that it is of no problem(not like Canada). First of all i took the appointment for me and my wife at www.nvars.com for the consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Then i contacted Victor Garcia for Mexican permit and transportation(www.victorgarciainternational.com). He will tell you what to do in advance. Check http://usembassy.state.gov/posts/mx2/wwwhnivh.html for details about papers you need to take. On the morning, he picked us from the hotel at 7.30 am , and gave the bank drafts for the consulate with Mexican permits. We were inside the consulate by 8.25 am. At all points guards will check your appointment letter. First they will verify the DS 156 & 157 and then the photo session with finger print. After that they told us to wait. Our numebr was called after one hr and the officer was very friendly. He was asking questions like, where do you work, what kind of work you do, do u have any criminal records, where did u get your degree. Then he asked me for the tax returns. I gave him my file which includes tax returns, Pay stubs and all. Then he said your visa is approved and i paid the reciprocity fee. I got my passport back after 30 mins or so. Everything was done before 12.00.
