H-4 stamping while being a student

Hello:

We are going to Canada soon to stamp H-1 for my husband and H-4 for me after changing from F-1/F-2 to H-1/H-4. Meanwhile, I am going to enter graduate study (M.S. in computer science) in some university here in Virginia starting this fall, so I will be a student while applying for H-4. Should we anticipate any problems getting H-4?... Like saying "go get F-1 to study" or doing looong security checks like some F-1 guys are getting now...

Obviously I will have to write that I am going to study on visa application and I know that it's formally OK to study on H-4, but practice may differ from theory...

Any help woluld be appreciated... or perhaps somebody was doing H-4 stamping while studying and can give specific advice. Thanks.

Yes, you run a risk of "go do F1". I would suggest that you dont mention about studying. Once you come into US in H4 then if you decide to pursue some studies, then you dont need to satisfy a "should have applied F" condition. My opinion.
