H-1b Working Location Issues

Hi,

I'm on H-1B and my company HR says I have to work within a 50-mile range from company office (there's only one office in the US). Is there any legal way for the company to issue a LCA for other location within same state but other county (NOT within 50 mile range)? In other words can an employee legally work remotely or from other place within same state if the employer does not mind it?

Thank you in advance!

Employer can get new LCA for new Location. Talk to your company lawyer for more info.

So what I was able to find is that an amended LCA may be my case (moreover there are up to three working locations possible in sections G(a) - G(c)).

However, there's one important detail: I'm on EB-3 processing and does it change the situation?

Appreciate you answers (if there are any lol)

--- Eb3 or EB2 is LC or I-140 for GC and GC is for FUTURE JOB AFTER I-485 approval/GC approval.

LCA is for H1B
LC is for Green Card(first step)

*** Your Employer or you company Lawyer should be able to guide you for work location or for new LCA for new work Location.
