H-1B to F-1 to H-1B

I will appreciate if anyone can answer the following question:

First 3-year period of H-1B used
1.5 years of the second H-1B period used and swtiched to F-1

Can I obtain a 1.5 year (the time that I didn't use when I swtiched to F-1) H-1B visa after my studies with F-1?

I am wondering what happens to unused H-1B time if you decide to switch back to H-1B without leaving the country for 1 year.

yes you can be on H1 or H4 for another 1.5 years.

My friend is on H1B for 4 years and he wants to change to F1. And then later he'll change to H1B again. When he changes to H1B again, will the six year count on H1B will start from zero or from four?
