H-1B Stamping, I-485 and travel

Dear Friends.

I am in final stages of filiing for GC appln through university for Schedule A categorey which is open currently and has option of concurrent filing still available.

Let me give some background of my present status. I and my family entered in US on student/dependent (F-1, F-2) visa, Our F-1/F-2 visa stamp on Passport Expired in January 2006. I worked on OPT from August to March at University and My and my Families H-1 (H-4) applications were approved in 03/06. So I am currently on H-1 from March-2006 and My Family is on H-4. WE HAVENT YET STAMPED H-1 (H-4) VISA ON THE PASSPORT.

I have these questions in regards to I-485 filing

(1) After Filing I-485 can I go to out of country (Canada or Mexico) and get H-1B (H-4) stamped on the Passport (Without making use of ADVANCE PAROLE)? or I have to do that BEFORE I FILE FOR I-485?

(2) which Place in Canda or Mexico may be best to Go for quick and easy stamping of H-1/H-4?

------------- yes, but if H1 or H4 visa stamp is rejected you have to go directly to your home country from Canada or Mexico
or I have to do that BEFORE I FILE FOR I-485?
------------- file the I-485, apply for Advance Parole with I-485 get approved AP in hand for you and your dependents on H4 then go out, if H1, H4 gets rejected you can use AP to enter US
(2) which Place in Canda or Mexico may be best to Go for quick and easy stamping of H-1/H-4?
