Details: Mail date to st.louis: Jan18,2003
Received date to DC: Jan30,2003

As I checked through the entire thread, I found that almost 90% they got it in 50 to 60 days.

I feel that I should get it between March 11 to March 18.

If anyone has updates please update the forum and that helps.

If you want to check you DC dates you can call 202-663-1225. Options 1 and then 6. They give you the dates it got to DC and also you can ask what dates they are currently processing and your passport expected time.

I AM FROM PAKISTAN AND WANT TO SEND MY PAPAERS FOR H1B1 VISA ALONG WITH MY WIFE H4 VISA.


I HAVE HEARED THAT NOW A DAYS THEY ARE NOT ISSUEING VISA TO THE PEOPLE FROM MUSLIM COUNTRIES .

IS THERE ANY BODY FROM PAKISTAN WHO HAS RECENTLY GOT VISA FROM ST LIOUS

St Louis RD : Dec 27th

My DC Date is jan 9th. No news yet. Any one after dec 20 st louis date are still waiting for passport. Please let me know.

Details: Mail date to st.louis: Dec23,2002
Received date to st.louis: Dec24,2002

Stamped on Feb19,2003 and received on Feb20,2003

Visa revalidated

Hi,
I sent my and my wife passprot for revalidation of visa and got back today with revalidation. I sent my employer letter and notorize copy of my I-797.
I am from Pakistan (reason I mentioning that for those who post messages that muslims are not getting visa revalidated.)
Sent: Jan 02,2003
Got Back: March 03, 2003.

I called visa office today afternoon, somebody answered me after 75 minutes(Glad I have my headphones handy @ work).
She told me that my VISA has been issued today.
Let you know once i get my visa.

DS-156 for H1 visa revalidation

Hi,
I had sent my papers for visa revalidation to St.Louis on Feb 10.
At that time there was no change in DS-156. But now in
http://www.travel.state.gov/visaforms.html
there are changes done to the DS-156 form.

Will this create any problems for my visa stamping.

Also is there any one who has ST.Louis sent date some time
in 1st or 2nd week of Feb?

Sent docs on Jan 15th and received on Jan 16th. Do not know the DC system date. Expecting by March 15th as per the messages posted. Keep updating.

My St.Louis receipt date is Feb 10. As it take around 2 months, hope it should be thru by mid April..

Me too waiting

I sent on Feb. 10 and was recd at St. Louis on Feb 11. I searched the site but it doesn't mention anything about old DS-156. I guess there should be a cut off date.
 
Finally received my PP today after a weekend and a closed receive front-desk (through Fedex) . Here are the updates

Mail to St Louis: Dec 18
Receive Date @St. Louis: Dec 20
Approve date: Feb 25
Stamp Date: Feb27
FedEx Mail Date from DC: Feb 27
Receive Date: March 4

Don't know the DC system date. Total about 75 days.

About New DS-156 form

Hello,

I sent my PP for revalidation last week with Old DS-156 form. There is some change in the new form like spouse infomation etc.. Is there is a cut off date for accepting old forms. It's really frustrating to see the frequent fee/form changes. Will it be a problem? I'm planning to travel to India end of May for my marriage.

Another frustrating two months ahead for me...(I thought I covered everything fee, photos etc...upto date)

There is nothing mentioned about the old DS-156.
So I believe this we should not have any problem.

Hi,

Here I am writing about my case.

My VISA/H1 both got expired on first week of Januray/2003. I have applied for both H1 and H4 extention on first week of November/2002.
I got both the approvals for H1 and H4 on second week of Feb/2003. My wife(H4), she went to india on second week of DEc/2002.
I sent my 0riginal I-797 for revalidation to St-louis. Now my question is , what are the documents that I need to send it to India for my wife stamping.
Can I send H4 approval copy(approved I-539 application) and photo copy of my approval copy(I-797) to get stamping for my wife in India.
