I had sent the following documents:

1. Passport
2. Original I-94
3. Visa Processing Fee $100 (Money Order)
4. Reciprocity Fee $75 for Indian Nationals (Money Order)
5. Form DS-156 with one passport-size photograph attached
6. Form DS-157
7. Original Form I-797, H-1B Extension Notice of Approval
8. Letter from current employer
9. A self addressed envelope with prepaid airbill (FEDEX)


They sent back:
1. Passport with visa stamp with original I-94
2. Letter from current employer
3. Original I-797
4. I had sent one extra photograph, which was returned back to me.

Question regrading fees??

I am going to apply for VISA revalidation for my wife and myself. I have a question. I know ‘Nitinag’ has done this for sure. I would really appreciate if he can reply or someone who have done this before.

How many and for how much money orders/cashier checks I need to send?

Is it okay to send it just one money order/cashier check or should I send four different money orders/cashier checks?

Please do reply I need to apply ASAP.

December 26 sent date.

St Louis SD : 12/26
St.Louis RD : 12/27

Status still waiting.

Keep posting in the tracker if any of you recieve the passports.

I have moved because of my job. I'm checking my fedex tracking everyday. Do anyone know how fedex handles the mail forward.

Let me know if anyone wants JAVA application which tracks the fedex site contstanty ie every 8 hours or so. This application sends me an email which inturn sends me message to my mobile when fedex packet is in mail.

As soon as you know your package is picked up by fedex, just give a call to FEDEX and request for change of address. Since recipient is paying for the mail service, forwarding of mail should not a problem.

I am also tracking on fedex website every day, but no luck so far.
If you can send your java program that will be of great help .

I called state department and after some 80 minutes, someone answered the call. The lady only confirmed that they have recieved the appliaction but did not tell me anything - when it was entered in the system, how long will it take, only that they are working on it (I felt it was kind of rude). Did anyone get this kind of answer. Is there a problem?

I got the exact same answer. But when i asked washington system date, she said 9th january.
I have send my passport on 26th December.

I've just received the passports today.

Sent to St. Louis: 12/22/2002 by Fedex
Received by St. Louis: 12/24/2002
Visa Issued on 02/12/2003
Sent back from Washington DC: 02/13/2003
Received back on 02/14/2003 (also by Fedex)

CAN ANY BODY TELL ME THAT LETTET WHICH IS WRITTEN BY THE EMPLOYER . WHAT SHOULD EMPLOYER WRITE IN THAT LETTTER .

I WOULD APPRICATE IF ANY BODY WHO HAS REVALIDATED HIS VISA SUCCESSFULLY QUOTE THE EXCAT LANGUANGE OF THE LETTER WRITTEN FROM EMPLOYER BEHALF ..........................

I HAVE CHECKED THE DOS WEBSITE IT SAYS THAT EMPLOYER SHOULD STATE :THE NEED OF VISA IN THE LETTER..............
