H-1 revalidation tracker in St.Louis/Washington

H1 revalidation

help, help!

I sent my H1B revalidation application on Sep/26 via fedex, it was received by DOS on Sep/27. I already booked my flights for 12/11.

I called 202-663-1225, but it's always busy.

Did someone just get revalidated H1 visa?:( :(
 
it takes 6+ weeks, so its about time. You should get it in a week or so. I think there shouldn't be a problem for you to make the 12/11 deadline.

I also got a engaged line a few days ago. If you persist you would get it. Try in the morning .

In what format did you write data of birth. I am trying to fill the forms on PC

what did you write for National Indentifcation Number...I am from India.

1. I wrote the name of my HR head and the address of my company.

2. I wrote the DOB in the format asked for in DS156 ( i think it was dd-mm-yyyy.

3. national identification number- NONE
 
Still wating for passport

Hi all:


i sent my passport for revalidation on Oct 7th and they received it
on 8 th oct.
it is almost 6 weeks.
is there any cross check for this.
pl share your ideas.

Here is the DOS number for Status check..
(202) 663 1225 press 1 then 6 ...you can speak with DOS officer
I think it's Mon thru Friday 8/9 AM to 5 PM (EST)

Best time to call them is in the morning around 9 AM

Sent 9/30/02, still not received passport

Sent to St Louis: Sept 30th
Received: Oct 1st

Still no sign of passport. Travelling On Dec 11th. Will send application to withdraw if passport is not received back by Dec 2nd. Is it enough time ?

Also no use calling DOS. I called them and they are saying it can take 8-10 weeks, why you calling after 6 weeks? Has anyone been sucessful in getting accurate info from DOS ?

Help!!!

I called visa office today and last Friday, I was told my visa had been issued on Nov/14. but so far I still can not find out the fexdex tracking number from fedex website. Does it take so long to put it in the mail room? BTW, I enclosed the airbill fedex return envelop


I am worried they might lose my passport..

It's so frastrating.:confused: :confused:
 
Got approved but hasn't got the passport

I sent my passport on oct 7 and DOS received it on oct 8th.
I called DOS this morning to find out my visa has been approved.
But the officer told that visa office is having some printing problems and it may take couple of days to send the passport.
 
Machine is broken

Called DOS today 11/19/02. Spoke to officer. He confirmed that my visa has been aproved (DOS received October 1st). He said the machine that checks the visa for accuracy has broken down. Once they fix the machine passport will be sent. He said I should get it was before my departure in Dec.

I already booked my flight from a travel agent, but have not paid the airfare, because I still worry that i could not get my passport back by Dec/1.

Right now, we even can not withdraw our passport. Suck!:mad: :mad:

here are the guys are getting appovals ,who sent on the same day with us.

because of some printing problems at visa office it is getting delayed.

probably we may get it once it is fixed.

let us hope for the best.

Visa revalidated

Both H1 and H4 stamped

sent on 3rd october.
stamped on 18th nov.
recd on 19th nov.
