Initial revalidation application takes 6-8 weeks

if your passport was sent back because of wrong fee payment then you will have to lookup this website

if your passport was sent back because of wrong check they say it takes the same amount of time(6-8 weeks), however i have seen on these boards usually they send it back within two weeks. you will have to send the reapplication to washington directly instead of st.louis if they have sent the letter to you
 
I sent mine on July 15, 2002.
Still waiting for approval.

I have my I-485 process going on for GC, but in DS-156 I marked NO to the question "If anybody applied for your immigrant visa". :confused:

Not sure if this will affect me :(
 
Visa Stamped in St Louis

Sent passports for h1 and H4 revalidation on June 30
Recieved at ST Louis July 1
Recieved both the passports with h1 and h4 visa stamp on Aug 14 via fedex overnight.

Finally its done.

Took exactly 6 weeks.
 
Recd. documents, but not passports sent for revalidation of visa

I received all documents sent along with passports for revalidation of H1 & H4 visa's to St Louis,MO after 6 weeks without the passports. There was no letter about the status of passports. Could anybody suggest how to followup on this issue?

I have never heard of this before.

1. Send a fax immediately to them at Fax: 202-663-1608 with the following details:

applicant's name (as it is written in the passport),

passport numbers and date of issue

applicant's date and place of birth,

applicant's nationality,

visa type (e.g., E, H, I, L, O, P),

method sent (e.g., Fedex, Express Mail, DHL, World Courier, UPS, Priority Mail, etc.),

date the package was received at the Department,

name and return address on envelope, and a

telephone and/or fax number to contact you if there are difficulties finding the application.

2. Call them tomorrow at this number 2026631225(option 1 and then 6) between 2-4 P.M. eastern time also

Here are more details. I have sent it on 6/27 & received back on 8/12. Already sent fax on 8/12. So far there is no reply. Called the same number, they suggested to send a fax. Any other ideas on how to proceed?

I have sent the prepaid fedex airway bill. I received the same envelop on 8/12 with my employer's letter & other documents, but no passports. No other letter or DS156 copies.

if you have not received the ds-156 back with the other papers it is usually a rejection, but you should have got a letter and your passports also. call them again and ask to speak to a supervisor. how much fees did u send 45 or 65?

Yes, I sent the return envelop by fedex & received the same envelop by fedex. I have sent the fee for $65. How to contact the supervisor?
 
rvram have you tried your hr dept.?

Usually if they call and can give a reason like needs to travel on company business etc. you may get a better response from washington

july 8th revalidation done

i saw on another forum, that somebody whose application was received on july 8th at. louis was received back today with revalidation.

Did u get your passport back with revalidation. Since yours was received on July 1st I thought you will be getting it by AUg 22nd.
Let us know the status.

Mine reached on July 15th and I need it by July 26th back :(.
