Wow, that is amaizing
. What was your reaction to the IO or cust. ser. rep. when you heard about your peding name check? I guess I am trying to find out if your reaction matters to them or not. I have seen a couple of more cases like yours when they called the USCIS, somehow, there name check got cleared in a few days. I don't what is the true reason behind it.

wanted to share with you that I received my GC approval email on 06/28
Applied I 140 and I 485 during June 2005 using a preapproved labor on EB3
with a PD of Sept'01.
FP during July 05 and Mar'07.

RD of 485 was somewhere middle of 2004.
The funny thing is - that he has no LUD even this morning and his message is the same.
Our guess that this point is -- in many cases the cards are dispatched before they send the approval email. In some cases -- guys have got the aproval email on Monday and on Tuesday they have received the cards.
In my friends case it looks like the email guru at USCIS started his vacation bit early.

Hi Folks,
I just got magic email from uscis that my case has been approved. My eyes have been waiting to see this email for so long. I received another email last week just after my finger printing that a document has been mailed. I was very concerned because it doesn't say approval or RFE. I think lot of people has received this email and most of the time it means missed FP. I have been waiting eagerly to get this document and I didn't get that document in my mailbox since last week. But today morning I got two approval emails one for me and one for my wife. It says that "we have mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 application to register permanent residence or to adjust status.Please follow any instructions on this notice."
I'm so happy and relieved. I think I'm the lucky one among those 60,000 cases they approved on the June 30. It is all the blessings of God. I think they are going to continue sending approval mails every day. So guys just hold on and keep faith and hope for the best from All mighty God.
Only question I have is that My online stauts doesn't say anything about card production ordered yet. What will be in the notice? will the greencard come in the email? Approximately in how many days?

You can contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375 – 5283, but they mostly read out the message you see in the online status page.
Better take infopass appointment at your local USCIS office with a photocopy of your I-485 receipt and talk to the immigration officer, ask them what is the status of your case like whether it has been pre-adjudicated or not, if they say yes then your case would be approved in coming few weeks. Good luck.
