Guys who filed I-485 in 03/01

Please keep this thread alive.

So far, there is still no receipt for me (filed on 03/09/01). Any other way to check? Will calling IIO help? Anywhere has a guide line?

Lawyers always give those estimates like "I have seen receipts come in as late as more than 2 months...". But seems like most people posted here all got theirs pretty soon.

My lawyer sent my I-485 packet on 03/13/01 and have not got the receipts.

I finally got my receipt from the lawyers. Either I am extemly unluck or what, in fact, it is dated as:
Mailed on March 9, 2001
RD: 03/13/2001
ND: 03/29/2001

Not sure where the delay happened. Either by the post office or by the lawyer. Anyway, it is one more step ahead.

I have sent my I-485 papers on 03/13/01. Have n\'t got the receipt notice yet. Can we talk to IIO ? Will that help ?

and EAD,AP approvals for guys who filed in 03/01.

No progress on my case. As many people say I also think that CSC has slowed down. No postings on EAD/AP/FP/485. I will try to gather info from this discussion and start another one, since this thread has become too large.

Note: I will definitely post if there is any progress on my case.

I know one of my friends who filed in March 16 got his EAD approved on May 08th. So I guess INS is working but slow...

Applied 3/22/01 and have not received a receipt yet. Should I talk to the IIO. Lawyer says it is not unusual.

I applied EAD on my own on 20th April ( I posted the application by certified post with return receipt _ - till date neither the check has been cashed nor any sign of return receipt.

Dunno whats happening. RSK67 did u too apply on ur own ?

Baith & other 03/01 filers:

Checked AVM today and my EAD has been
approved on May 8th.
More details:
PD jan 14 1998
485 RD Mar 6th 2001
485 ND Mar 27th 2001

No AP or FP yet.

but AVM says that it will take 30 to 60 days to get
the EAD card. Does it take so long after the approval?

Baitha: guess this thread is growing and we may need to
start a new one so that 03/01 filers can post their progress.

Hi,

My question is do you get a separate set of WAC No. & RD & ND for EAD or is it the same as 485 receipt dates. My receipt dt. for I-485 application is 03/29/2001. I have not received any information regarding my EAD. The AVM says the WAC no. cannot be found. Please clarify. Thank You.

The actual WAC nos are different for EAD and 485 receipts but I have
same ND on them. I mean both are WAC-01-142-xxxxx (obviously the
last 5 digits will be different).

I have seen a few postings here about WAC no not found. Talking to
IIO might help.

I think your ND and mine looks to same. My ND 4/9/01. I have not got
AP/EAD/FP so far. Please let me know if you have received.
