Gurus, Where to file spouse's "Derivative Adjustment" EAD renewal ?

Gurus,
I want to file my wife's EAD renewal. But INS's instructions seems a bit confusing. Also i have moved to a new place, state change couple of days ago , but in the same service center jurisdiction.
On the instructions page it says "c(9)-- Aliens filing for 485 adjustment (I-485) who were required to file with the USCIS local office having jurisdiction over thier place of residence (this does NOT include aliens filing for EMPLOYMENT based adjustment of status".
Last year we filed at VSC, but with this clause a bit confused.
Should be at VSC or Chicago Lock box office?

Out of curiosity, is "derivative adjustment" a family based petition (i-130) which i doubt a bit or EB based ?
How is that categorized ?

It can be either. It's spouse/dependent child of the beneficiary of an immigrant visa petition.

renewal of ead

hi i need to renew my ead..our case has been transferred to local office from vermont . My husband is the primary applicant. So where should i send my renewal application ...vermont or local office? IF any one has any input on this please send immediately as its very urgent. Thankyou.
