FP Done: Rcvd: 3/30 Schd: 5/7/ Done: 4/4 Loc: San Jose
We did our early FP on 4/4/2002. It was scheduled on 5/7, but, requested and was agreed. There were many people (around 60-70), but, line was moving pretty fast. Total time spent around 45-50 mins. Overall very professional and efficient.

We reached there around 8.45, as I mentioned there were many(50-60) people already there. Honestly, we were deliberating whether we should even try and thinking of returning (without even asking).
But, then we had a medical reason and we requested for early and he agreed. We were pleasantly surprised.
I agree with others that one should try when there are very few people. Good time should be 2.00 - 3.00 Thu/Fri. We thought, 8.30 Wed would be good, but, it was very crowded. When we came out, we found that many people were waiting outside in the line!

Early FP done at SJC ASC on 04/05 (Scheduled: 05/07/2002)

just to let you know that today we got the early FP done. Reached
SJC ASC at around 1 pm. There were around 20 guys inside. Guard was checking if it was the scheduled date. Told him I had come earlier
and it\'s kind of far from my home as well as office, and might be out on business on the scheduled date. He obliged and gave us the forms
to fill (which after being signed by the ASC official is your receipt). Complete process was kind of fast, may be around 30 minutes.
Suggestion: Do not stand in line outside. The chances of getting in
become slim when there is a Q outside. Go talk (request him) to the Guard, disclose the FP date if asked, and things will work out fine.
Since timings are Tuesday- Saturday 8:30 - 3:45, do not go after 2 pm as they will be busy attending to the folks scheduled for the date.

early finger printing
Did my early finger prining in San jose on friday. We went around 2.30 and were out by 3.00 pm. No qestions asked. There were around 30 people and still the gaurd was allowing people to come in.

1. What identification documents did you have to take? Is driver\'s license sufficient? Or do they ask for passports as well (mine is out for revalidation of visa)? Also, do you know if out-of-state drivers\' licenses are accepted?
2. How easy was it for you to do FP prior to your scheduled date? Were you allowed to enter w/o any problems?
