Cant wait to collect the Notice in the Mail and get the passport stamped.

I did it today at San Francisco. It is easy and quick, I arrived there at 7:30am and had everything done at 8:40AM.
I recieved the Approve notice yestoday, cannot wait to have PP stamp done today.

FP: 12/15/01 as scheduled

My VM changed to on Nov x your FP was received and is pending review.
My Wife\'s changed in 1st week of Jan to Processing Resumed.

I checked yesterday and it was still at pending review. But i checked today 03/29 and it changed to Approved.

I hope everyone get\'s their GC fast. I hope you will not mind me adding something extra here and it is that, there is no use calling IIO until and unless your case has been really delayed. I was worried about my case being and pending review and called IIO, they basically told me whatever i knew and said that mine should change to processing resumed any day. But it never changed. So, my understanding is that it does not help. But i have to add that i was worried. And i understand why we all call, but frankly it does not help until and unless our case is exremely delayed.

You can take my advice or guess just ignore it, but thought i should add my 2 cents (maybe it will help).

Finally, thanks to everyone for all the support. I will update after i get my passport stamped with my exp.

ALL THE BEST to all of who are waiting. Have heart.. miracles do happen.. :)

I heard the magic voice on the AVM today that my case has been approved on March 28th 2001.

PD - Nov. 1999
I-140 - Approved in Jan. 2001.
I-485 details,
RD - Sept. 6th 2001
ND - Sept. 25th 2001
Did not apply for EAD and AP, as my attorney suggested it will take more time for GC with EAD and AP.
FP - Dec. 4th 2001 done
Approved on 28th of March 2002. Waiting for Notice in the mail

Appeal for Help

Hi guys

On Friday I called IIO. I guess I was quite tired to see other people getting approved
whose wac number was greater than mine. My wac number is wac-01-270-5xxxxx
Also I have done fp on November 29th and I was wondering what was wrong with my case.

So The IIO told me that I and my daughter got an RFE. She would not give me details for
my wife because my wife was not present next to me when I called. I had called from
my office.

She also told me that the notices were not printed and mailed but they would be in a
few days. My AVM message still says \'Pending review dt Dec 6th\'

I guess now that my status has moved from \'pending person or waiter or case in limbo or
you could call it status unknown to status - rfe victim\'

No She would not give me details of my rfe.

I guess I will know in 7-10 days from my attorney.

So what is my appeal for help ?

Well - my purpose in maintaining the recent approvals thread was three fold

One - to help myself in knowing what is CSC upto and when will I get approval and

second - to help PCee in his collection of data.

third - to help CSC waiters in their wait for approval in knowing where they stood in the
queue.

Another factor to be considered is that the time consumed in gathering all information is
quite large and also my work has increased in the office.

Also now I have moved from \'waiter\' to \'rfe_victim\'

Hence I guess now I shall be cease to maintain the recent approvals thread.

I apologise to all waiters that I shall not be continuing my work.

But yes I shall be around and shall finish this week\'s thread and analysis.

My appeal for help is that I request other waiters to continue this effort and in case
people require my data I shall post the excel spreadsheet which I use to create the
list of approved and pending numbers.

In case someone requires he could contact me by private message and I shall help him
understand the techniques I used to generate these numbers

Hopefully someone will carry the torch further.

I was a frequent visitor on this site since last 4 months. This site was very helpful for me for my Fingure Print Notice & I-485 Approval. My I-485 with WAC 01-288 got approved on March 26th 2002. My details are as below.

I-485 RD - 20-Aug-2001
I-485 ND - 19-Sep-2001
EAD Approved - 27-Nov-2001
Adv Parole - Dec-2001
FP Notice Date - 21-Mar-2002
FP Done - 15-Feb-2002
Called FBI at (304)625-5590 (Option 4) and they said my FP was approved on same day and sent back to INS.
AVM Message - FP Received on 21-Feb-2002 and Processing Resumed
I-485 Approved Date - 25-Mar-2002
Received Approval Notice - 29-Mar-2002

What is background checking?

I checked AM , it say processing has been resumed.Does it mean background checking has been completed or not?
 
No it does not mean background checks have been completed

I think it just means that the FBI checks have completed and the FP\'s are OK. The background checks will be completed in 4-6 weeks after FP.
