187- RFE case apporved as per AVM on 29th.

hi, my case was approved on 29th. my details are in pcee and also in the RFE discussion Part -3

Sorry to hear that you got an RFE. I hope and wish that it is real simple one like paystubs, emp letter or just I-140 copy and you guys get your GC soon.

I do understand how much time and effort you are putting into maintaining this thread. Sorry to hear that you won\'t be doing it any more. As I wrote in the past this thread is helping me a lot in approvals data collection. Thanks for all your help.

background check

After fp has been done - this info goes to fbi who maintains a database of fp\'s and can make a speedy reply - This fbi process does not take a long time. Then they request info from local police and cbi for information about you. This takes 6 to 8 weeks.

This is called background check.

The AVM says \'process resumed \' or \'pending review\'

This just means that the fbi part has been done

but the other local police and cbi is not over.

Once background check is over the case becomes adjudication ready.

This is not reflected in the avm message.

After that it gets assigned to officer which is also not reflected in avm message and then the case gets approved/rfe

This is 90 percent reflected in avm that you are approved or u have rfe.

The AVM is not 100 percent reliable - I would say it is 90 percent reliable.
