I\'ve spoken with my attorney and she has sent a fax asking for special priority.Hopefully,it should get noticed.If not,I\'ll have to cross my fingers and hope it should be done by June-July...

Hopefully I should get it in 2 weeks (as currently RD 10/16 are receiving FPs).

Planning to go early(in the same week or next), once FP received.
 
RFE got for EAD

A copy of 485 receipt and I-140 approval were requested. My attorney helped on sending out the reply today.

Got EAD cards for me and my wife in mail. Did not check AVM yet.

I haven\'t received my EAD. Yesterday night I have checked the AVM and still getting the same message 120-140 days.

Hope we will get it soon....
 
Got Interim EAD

I just got iEAD today 04/02/2002 for me and my wife.

RD Dec 11th
ND Dec 13th
WAC 02-063-xxxxx

PCEE could please update me in Dec thread.
 
How did you get it

Could you please let me know how you got your interim EAD?

Where did you go and what are the required documents? How long is it valid?

I live in San Jose, So I went to San Jose office at around 4.30 am and was back by 11.30 am the wait was long, the officers were polite actual procedure is 30 minutes once your number is called.
The documents needed

copy of 485 receipt notice
copy of 765 receipt notice
your passport.
They keep the copies(make some if have only one)

check your 765 AVM if processing is resumed you are not eligible to get iEAD, it is valid for 8 months from the date of issue (hope to get my EAD by then).

you can go after 90 days from RD date (i guess) but ND date is for sure.

1. When you said you went to the San Jose Office, is that office where you go to get your passport stamped when you get I485 approved or is it the office where you get your Fingerprints (ASC). I am sure it must be the former but just confirming. I think I will have to go to the Santa Ana office at the Civic Center.

2. Do you have to pay a fee to get for the IEAD paperwork?

3. Finally, the processing resumed is for 765 and not for I485. Because the AVM for my I485 says processing resumed.
