Received approval notice today 02/19

The AVM for my case was updated on 02/15 and today I received approval notice for mine and my wife\'s petition.
Once again my wac number is wac-01-235.
Thanks a lot to you PCee and also to Ciba for your selfless efforts. People like you make this world a great place.

My case is approved per AVM!!!

I thought it will never happen, but it IS happening!!! Last night I heard the new and great message, "This case is approved on Feb. 15..." I don\'t even remember what was following after that. I am waiting to receive the notice from the mail.

Received approval notice

It is a huge relief to post that I received my approval. I am a
silent lurker on this board. The postings by fellow 485 waiters
have been very helpful in keeping my anxiety levels in check.
I am not on any tracking lists. Here are my details

FD done 11/27/01 (scheduled on the same day in San Francisco)

PP stamping @ Sanjose need help

Can any tell me if there is a way to take an appointment at San jose office?
People who have stamped their PP please advise, as to what time one has to reach there. did reach there at 6. am but they announced at 9 that they are not accepting any more applicant.
Please please advise
 
appointment can be done by lawyer

lawyer can send a fax message to San Jose center requesting for appointment but it will take 20-30 days before u can stamp ur passport.

But better than this if you can go to San Jose at the wee hours of 2 am or go to San Francisco - My friend had approval notice for San Jose and went to SFO and went at 9=15 am and got stamping done in 1 1/2 hours. He had gone with his wife and two kids (age 3 years and 11 years old) hence it would have been very difficult for him to take all of them to San Jose in the wee hours of the night and he had a comfortable journey in his car listening to music and talking with his wife and kids and eating candy and french fries etc etc.

It is a controlled environment with ac/heater on and quite comfortable rather than standing in the cold weather at San Jose.

You are now aware of the above 3 options

a) appointment
b) San Jose
c) SFO

Heard the words I\'ve been waiting for: \'Case approved...\'. The approval notice has been mailed for my wife and me.
I cannot thank enough the support structure and sharing of info provided by folks on this board. Most of all to Pcee and Ciba -- hats off to the wonderfully generous initiative you have taken here to help out so many people. Thank you!

rd 05/01 - FP not received

rd 05/01 FP not received yet. Domicile - Boston, Case filed from Oakland ? Called up CSC, rep said that i haven\'t received FP because my case has not been assigned yet and told me that they are processing only Jan\'2001 cases as of now. Reading through all these posts, seems like that what she told me wasn\'t very accurate !!! If anyone has any information, or could advise a course of action, please help !!
 
shaking - Further question ?

Are you also domiciled out of Boston but are filing from California ? Also, what was you experience getting your EAD, I-140 approval etc. ? how long after FP can I expect to get my final approval ? For me, this is the first point at which I am experiencing a serious delay.
