Should I be concerned?
My ND is 03/15 and I haven\'t received FP notice yet. Can I talk to an IIO about this? 949-831-8427 is usually busy all day long...

Spoke to lawyer yesterday - no FP notice yet. They also said that they won\'t send any inquiry until after 180 days! They did add however, that I should be getting the FP notice "in the near future". In short, lawyer talk.
I\'ll call up INS myself in case I don\'t get anything before Memorial Day weekend. Thanks sw28.

RD - 1/7 for both me and my wife.
I received my AP on March 10. My wife got an RFE for Marraige certificate which we duly responded to. Her AP got approved on April 10 but till now we have NOT received the AP document.
I was lucky enough to get through and talk to an IIO today morning. And she confirmed that it was approved on April 10 and sent to the address specified. I confirmed the address too.
I asked her what has to be done and she said , you have to apply again for it.:-(
Can someone advise what would be the best way to approach this issue.

Does the INS process EAD cards completely at random.
The receipt date for both me and my wife\'s I-765 is 1/7.
We went and collected the iEAD card about 3 weeks back. Several of the people who have receipt dates after mine have started receiving their EAD cards.
I spoke to the IIO and she told me that a decision is not yet made on the case.
Any suggestions ???

Finger Printing
About a month back, me and my wife got the fingerprinting done. The AVM message still doesnt indicate anything. Is this ok?
I spoke to the IIO and she confirmed that they did receive the fingerprints back. Is that good enough reason not to worry about the AVM message.

Same thing with me, we did FP april 27th but the song is same and about AP\'s also same thing the message same but I spoke to officer it was approved and mailed on may 6th but I didn\'t received till today. I called again today same thing she told wait for some more time or re-apply again.

Latest info on my process
1.RFE on AP for copy of I 140 recd and replied on 10 th May 2002.
2.Got Interm EAD from INS Santa Ana today ( 21 May 2002) no problem except for the delay in the new security system due to which we have to wait for about one hr extra.( went in at 7 30 Am got out at 1130 am)

Seeing the posting a few days back ..that INS LA was asking for the original..i asked my attorney to send me the original 765 reciept and took the same to Santa Ana ...but they did not ask for Original at all....So you can go with a copy.
jut give yourself enough time there
first go to 3rd floor show your application if ok u will be given a token.
Go to 5th floor and wait for your token number to be called out,give your application there and wait for your name to be called again( they go through the application and send it to 6th floor for IBIS check which takes about one hour),after that you will be asked to wait for your name to be called for EAD ...once called for that ...they will take your photograph righ there and give you the EAD in 5 mts after laminating it.

She couldn\'t speak English too well, but this is what I could capture. She asked for the case #, looked it up in the computer, and said "Something has been ordered, and that they haven\'t received the results back yet" I asked her "what results? i haven\'t even got the notice yet". She kept on harping the same tune that \'it\' has been ordered and usually it takes few days after that.
Can anyone make sense of this? Thanks.

AVM message strange!
My Ead approved on MAY 16th, but the AVM says "on may 16th after approving your application we ordered for new card it is taking 120 to 140 days, we mail you card as soon as it is ready" is there anybody knows when am i going to get my card in mail?
