FP: 05/09/02 - Done at Oakland.
AVM Updated: on May 11th Received FP review results and Processing is resumed
AP/EAD no news

AP received March 5th.
FP date - 5/1/02
FP returned same day.
But AVM has not been updated.
Still I have not received EADs, neither AVM has not been updated.
But people with same lines say, that their AVM says \'FR received, processing resumed\' etc.
But not mine!!
Any ideas?

Kiwi, how is your situation now? I still didn\'t get AP

My attorney sent the inquiry fax without response. I called IIO, what she can tell me is the case is still under processing though she also admit the schedule time is April now. I heard some news said INS ruin some files carelessly. I wonder if that includes mine, but seems no way to find out.

I will go to get the iEAD next month. DO you think make an AP query at local office make any difference? My attorney said they won\'t give me any info that is useful, but I remember you did such a inquiry before. Can you give me some suggestion?

Finally received FP notice yesterday.
Scheduled on 06/13. Done today in 10 minutes.

AP approval question

Hi guys,

I have seen that from FEB filers with the ND date 03/04/ to 03/06 got their AP. I haven\'t received it yet though nor my message is updated. My ND is 03/04/02. Did u guys have your message updated ? My FP is done 05/09 and message is updated to resume on 05/11. Does anybody have any idea or guidence about my AP ?

GOT EAD approved....

My RD - 1/17/2002

I received all receipts for AOS,AP,EAD etc.
I received AP on March 5th.
I received FP on April 30th.
FP DONE - on May 1 st.
Called (304)625-5590 option 4 to check FP Status.
Talked to a lady at FBI and she told
FP were returned on the same day to INS.
Heard the magic voice....
Called INS today - EAD got approved on May 18th.
It said mailed EADs.

The Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) has confirmed an investigation into possible improper shredding of immigration paperwork at the Orange County service center. The service center in Laguna Niguel, California, one of 4 service centers, serves California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii as the first point of entry for immigration applications. The service center routinely handles thousands of immigration documents a week and shreds much of the paperwork after processing, but allegations of improper shredding by an INS contractor initiated an internal audit.

I am sorry I did not respond earlier. Have not been visiting the board for few days (dejected). I am very frustrated like you. I do not know who to trust now. I am still waiting for my documents.

By querying at the Local office, I came to know that my AP was approved on 03/05/02. My lawyer says they have tracked the file and they are in the process of sending it. I am not sure whether to believe that are not.

May be we should do something about this. We are due for EAD approvals as well. Did your AVM change at all for I765 application. I am suspicious if they have lost/destroyed the documents.
 
FP notice received for ND 03/18

Lawyer has received FP notices for me and my spouse. But we haven\'t got it ob our own. Can we do FP with Lawyer\'s copy?
