I think INS,CA has speeded up processing of 485 cases as we are seeing lot of approvals in the past week.I think it is just a matter of time that everyone of us gets the approval. I will pray that the rest of the waiters feel the relief and happiness that we feel. This was a great site that made us feel better whenever we were down.Thanks for everything.

I just got a call from my attorney\'s office. The 485 petitions for my wife and myself were approved.

RFE response received by INS: April 12, 2002
AVM was never updated to RFE response received till May 8, 2002
Spoke with IIO on May 9 and she told me that RFE response ws received on April 12. The response will have to be linked to my file and assigned to an officer.
AVM updated to RFE response received: May 9

My paralegal just told me that the 485s were approved on May 9. They received the approval notices in today\'s mail. I will probably get them in today\'s mail too.

Approved on May 10, 2002 as per AVM, for my wife, son and myself. Big relief. Throughout this process we have felt very frustrated at times actually "helpless" would be the right word. This board has been of great help, for instance today when I saw so many approvals being posted I just kept trying the CSC number and when I got through I got the good news! My details are as follows:

I have a question. I received my aproval notice in mail today. I do have a question before I say goodbye. Do I need to have Original notice(mailed to Attorney) to do passport stamping. Also my notice says to go to San Francisco office. Can I go to San Jose office for stamping. I would appreciate your inputs.

Thought that I would jump with joy, but I just sat down by my office desk (motionless), couldn\'t believe my attorney\'s email mentioning approval of our cases. AD: 5/3/02. AVM still at its old same message: "On Dec 28th,... processing resume..."
