AllforGC...

Download some of the attached excel files in above messages.

Make sure you have internet connection while you run this excel file...

1. Open the downloaded file with MS Excel

2. Press Alt - F8

3. select I-485 scan

4. type in Lin number (ex. 02-115)
if 02-115 tab already exists, it will only scan the lin numbers on that 02-115 worksheet.

5. select range (ex.50500-51000)

6. select yes to confirm scan..

then, internet browser will start to scan .... putting result data on excel sheet ....once finished...save.
remember, no more than 1000 lin number range a day..

02-148-53000-55500

In last two weeks, in this range ... 16 status changes ... ONLY One Approval... rests are RFE....

here is the sheet ...

last night I had nothing to do, therefore I run the greenland report from 50000 to 55700, for 02-148...

I did not found any numbers in 49000 and after 55700?? does it means that INS gives only about 6000 numbers every day?

overall the stats for 02-148 looks good, about 60% cases are touched and about 37-38% approved...

looking at these stats... my hopes are alive again.... :) :) :)

here is the sheet ...

I again checked the status of the cases in 02148 today.... attached is the updated sheet ...

10 approvals since 03/27 in seriese 02-148....

Do you all see what I see ?

I see a lot of RFEs for application in the last 180 days ? Looks like BCIS has shifted focus to cases applied in last 180 days !

download any of the report excel file and run the 485scan macro... it will ask for the date e.g. 02-148 and then seriese 50000-51000... and then it will scan for 485 in that range... before running the script make sure that you are connected to Internet and also one more thing you cannot scan more the 1000 numbers every day... USCIS system locks you IP address fro 24 hours ...

is your comments based on any seriese or just observation???

LIN-02-148 50000 to 55500

another 10 approvals in last week since 4/4/2004 ...

Also I found one issue with the report macro....
1. when you run macro for first time at the time if the status is "Card Mailed" then macro was not handling it...

I have added additional code for this.... which moved about 27 cases from MISC status to others mostly to approved....

So now about 46% of cases from 02-148 is approved....

Here is the sheet ...

AMN,

couple of things...
1. since the INS changed the site, the macro needs an update to work with new site....
2. in the new site they have clause that you should only use it for the tracking personal cases....

mainly becuase of the second reason I am bit reluctant to try the macro again ...

MS-IL,

I have changed the macro and tried it, but I guess they have more restrictions on the number of case checks you can do, about 200-250 lins a day.
