2.Formats for date of birth and marriage certificate required

G C By son (US Citizen) To Parents in India

The son a US citizen wants to get GC for his parents in India.In addition to the 6 questions raised earlier ,a few more questions submitted below:-
7.After the parents get a GC and if they were Filing IT returns in India will they file IT returns in US also either in their own names or will the son file IT return on their behalf also in US (if they depend exclusively on him with no income in the US)
8.What is the amount MINIMUM income in US liable to be taxed or in other words upto what amount of income in the US ,there is no Income Tax liability?

Once they become green card holders, they must file tax returns on worldwide income, unless it is below a certain threshold based on their marital and dependent status.

What is the amount MINIMUM income in US liable to be taxed or in other words upto what amount of income in the US ,there is no Income Tax liability?

Note that if they are being claimed as dependents on their son's (or anybody else's) tax returns, the cutoff for being required to file a return will be thousands of dollars lower than what is listed in that chart.

You first need to tell us where the relatives live and who is sponsoring them. All the questions you have asked are generic questions answered on this sub-forum multiple times. Read up on sponsoring family members for GC. Then if you have specific questions, ask away.
