Green Card through sibling

My sister and her family are US citizens since a few years. They are residing in the US.

My background:

I am 38 years old female and live in Mumbai, India with my husband (42 years) and two daughters (8 years & 5 years old).

If my sister sponsors my green card today, how long will it take till I get it? Will my entire family get the Green Card or just me?

Also, I am aware that if I apply for a Green Card then I will not be ordinarily eligible for a B1 visa for the US, but will my spouse also be affected? I mean he travels very often to the US.

Thanks

You would fall under FB4-India, which is currently a wait of 11 years for a visa to become available. This time may grow or shrink between now and then. Yes, your spouse and minor children would be eligible to immigrate with you.

Your spouse would not be a direct beneficiary of the I-130, so the chances of denied entry are slightly less. If questioned, he needs to admit to the I-130 for his spouse and clearly emphasize the temporary nature of his visit. The frequent travels, long wait for a priority date and the inability to adjust after an overstay should help him.
