Green card question?

Hi,
I'm US citizen, my wife came here on permanent basis more than a month ago. We received SSN but no greencard yet. Can anyone tell me ,how & whom should we contact someone regarding this?
Or just wait....

Make an Infopass appointment to inquire about it at a USCIS office.

The agency used to have a form G-731 to inquire about greencard production when they were made at the 4 Service Centers. Now, all cards are made at a central secure card production facility, so, you can only make an inquiry through the NCSC by opening a Service Request based on your A#. IF one entered on an Immigrant Visa, rather than Adjustment of Status, there is an Immigrant Visa DHS Domestic Processing of $165, so there is a basis for making an inquiry, you paid for it.

Contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283. The NCSC can assist customers, community-based organizations and liaison groups with case related inquiries. Before calling the NCSC please have available your receipt number, alien registration number, type of application filed and date filed. During your call we recommend that you take note of the following information:

-The name and/or id number of the NCSC representative

-The date and time of the call

-Any service request referral number, if a service referral on a pending case is taken......
