Is somebody kind enough to post the GC (through Employer) procedure step by step from scratch.
I would greatlyt appreciate that.

Thanks.

1 your employer has to file LC with SESA or SWA and it can be filed in regular or RIR (for RIR your employer needs to advertise in news papers) RIR is faster than regular it depends where your employer will file the LC and different states have different times for processing LC once LC is approved by SESA or SWA it is sent to Federal DOL and then Federal DOL approved the LC
2 once LC is approved your employer has to file I-140 and you can file I-140, EAD, AP at the same time
you will get EAD and AP after you file your I-485 ( your spouse children if in US on H4 can file derivative I-485 when you file your I-485)
then you have to wait for I-140 approval at this time NSC is taking 6-9 months for I-140 approval VSC is taking around 1 year and TSC is worst CSC is also slow.
For GC, first your I-140 has to be approved then I-485 has to be approved.
I-485 has backlog in all the service centers at this time I-485 approval is taking 24 to 36 months. once I-485 is approved you get GC
