Hello everyone!
I'm about to have my green card interview in a few weeks. I've heard that there's a way to prepare for it. Can anyone help me figure out how to prepare for the interview? What are the questions they usually ask? Thank you very much for your help!!!!!!!!

What bothers me is that, as I've heard, they ask a lot of personal questions...is it true? in what setting does the interview usually take place? thanks a lot for your help.

there are a lot of stories of the interviews in this subforum. A quick look would give you a lot of information.

I've heard that they can ask you questions like :
where did you meet ?
what kind of work your husband does?
what are the names of your husband's parents?

also read all the " interview experience " stories from the website, they are very helpful.
good luck!

The bset way to prepare for your Interview is to bring a lot of evidence, especially evidence to support your relationship. Good evidence is bank statements that show joint accounts insurance papers that show both your names on them like renters insurance or car insurance. If your rent you should bring all your leases that prove that you and your husband live together. Bring any statements from banks that prove that you have joint loans like car loans.

My interview was over in 5 minutes. The officer only asked how we meet, and why we waited so long to get married. Other than these questions he only wanted to see some eivdence that our marriage was real and that was it.

If you got married for real that the interview will be fine.
