I am sponsering my father & mother to USA. I & my wife shows sponsers for them. my concern is that I have relatively low income like $29K & have bank balance upto $19K. Is it going to sufficient for sponser ?? I am thinking to add my brother in law to sponser. how is that going to effect their visa interview ?? My father is a govt employee still needed more than 5 yrs to get retirement !!

advice appriciated. they had interview in end of april !!

I firmly believe (and this is my opinion only) that I-134s hold very little weight for the interviewing consul. He will base his/her decision on the DS-156 infront of him. That alone (in 95% of the cases) will determine if the applicant overcomes 214(b) or not.

Your bank balance 19K is very high compare to most of the americans.
Withthis savings your parents can stay up to a year.

But you have to concentrate on, Will your parents return to their home country? or Going to stay with their son?. Burdon is on them to prove that they will return from USA.
