MY question is? what should i do. since its like cancelled.

My aunt is so cheap, she wont even spend money to get a lawyer and I, my family, doesnt have any information on what they did, so we cant get a lawyer either.
Also she SAID she called them and asked them and they said its cancelled.

whats the step i should take

Forget it...

A simple suggestion... throw yourself in a frying pan... boil yourself and when you are ready, serve yourself to your aunt....

why are you concerned about her? If she is cheap, then let USCIS teach her how not to be a cheap sucker when it comes to immigration...

Leave her alone, unless you want to marry her....

You're still vague about your question, is it just about your aunt's application or does it have anything to do with you?
If it's about her, it might not be a problem. My ex husband applied I-130 for me back in 97-99? I can't even remember. Nevertheless, I never pursued it any further. I remember getting 2-3 notices about it, but I just ignored them. I just applied it again last year.

let me guess - the aunt in question has filed an application for a sibling of a USC in 1999. The sibling has dependents (the original poster). The aunt is too cheap to call USCIS and update her address so that the notice could be resent to her. Since the number is 1-800, it's free to call within the US. I don't see how much cheaper it can get.

So, she may have been sent an RFE, which she never received (undeliverable) and which she never responded to, and the petition may have been denied because of that.

These are only guesses, since the original poster is very tight about the details. Darn. Well, we'll just keep guessing and giving guesstimates on what to do in a hypothetical situation.

If she was cheap, she wouldn't have filed the petition in the first place...
Why should she hire a lawyer... You, apparently, don't even appreciate the fact that she filed a petition for you, or your parent...

ok you assumed rite

here is the whole story.

my aunt, my dad and my uncle and my other aunt ( who my aunt applied for) are siblings.

she applied for my other aunt and my uncle.

my family came to US through my moms sister. so we didnt had to deal with her.

why i am intrested is cuz my uncle wants to come here and he keeps on asking us about the status. MY AUNT thinks we dont know anything and she kept on saying that its on its way. she kept on saying this and then one day i got fed up so i asked her to give me that number. and she did. i search on google and found out that site and then i was tracking the status and i got that. so then i called her and told her about this. she said she will call ( THIS WAS IN DEC) and now she says she called and USICS told her they cant do anything ( i think this is a lie). well then my dad told her to contact a lawyer and she said i am not paying for the lawyer. ( CAN u beleive it, she cant even spend some money for her brother and sister and she is in us since 1988) so my dad said send us the info and we will take care of it.
so i wanted to know what should i do other then contacting the lawyer.
and has anyone expericed this.

BTW she applied for my aunt and unlce and both got the same message.
she applied cuz my uncle forced her too. he told her to apply in 95, and finally she applied in 99.

well thats the story. plz tell me what to do.

well nothing to do with this but just what i am feeling

i dont want them to come here, since it will be very hard for him to start a new life here. he has a big house in india and a medicine store. we used to live there too but then my dad decided to come here and now after my studies i am thinking of going back :) :) :)

she is livnig here since 88. and if she cant spend couple of thousand dollar ( which my dad promised to pay for it) then what else can she doo:mad:

so, what's the status?

did USCIS send an RFE? did your aunt move?

yes she moved, she said she even got the letter from USCIS but it was all crumbled up, so she threw it away. she said both of the letters were crumbled up ( my aunts and my uncle).........

Try not to stress too much about it. Post on the website I gave you. I am sure you will find out the answers if you don't be like your aunt and see things through:) We are supporting you in this experience. Take care

Also she SAID she called them and asked them and they said its cancelled.

so, it doesn't say whether the petition has been denied. In your previous post (see above) you said it was cancelled/denied.

Since you know your case number, you need to call 1-800, say you are her, and get the address updated (also send AR-11 to the service center it's pending at), and see if there was an RFE (request for further evidence). Get them to resend it, make sure your aunt's name is on the mailbox, so it doesn't get returned again. Submit further evidence, and hope for the best.
