Got H1b 2008 Approval, When to go for stamping

I got my First H1B approval I797B notice. Question :-
- When should i go to US consul Chennai for Stamping for ME(H1B), Wife and Kid(H4).
- Can I go now and Plan to go TO US in Oct 1st Week ?
- Does Consul need Itinerary ?

There is a rule in FAM for visa stamping. If I remember correctly, you can get stamp 90 days prior to the start date.

i think you enter US not more than 10 days before the start of your job....
you can check this on US consulate website (Chennai)......
