got h1 approved but not issued I94

HI ,

i am on H4 visa and it is getting expired this month.I have applied for h1 and got approval but was not issued the I94 as my employer did not tick the option that i am in US now.

so as to get my I94..can i send and "amendment" saying that i have applied for extesion of H4 .and that i amin US rigth now.

please let meknow that if there is any posibity to get my I94.

Or should i have to go to Chennai for stamping.

Please let me know the posible ways to get my I94.

I think attorney had mess it up your H1. Since your H4 is expiring, there is no possibility to make any amendments. So you may have to go to Chennai (when the appointment available latest?) to get yur H1 stamped.

H1b-b approved but extension is denied and h4 also denied

My employer applied for H1b 9th year extension But h1b got approved but extension of stay is got denied.as per documents It says need to go mumbai consulate and Stamped.My valid US stamping was April 27th 2005 in my passport.

I got the reply from INS on August 7th

My valid i-94 got expired on april 28 2006

Below is the Document i got for My wife decision on deniel.

It says as a dependent the Applicant's classification is subject to pricipal alien's status.Since the nonimmigrant visa petition filed in behalf of the Principal alien,seeking extension of classification under section 101(a)(15)(H)(i)(b) of the act has been denied the appicant does not qualify for the request extension os stay.

The applicant is no longer in a valid nonimmigrant staus and must therefore depart the United states.

The Below is in the i-797b Document.

The above petition has been approved for the classification requested. it has been determined that the named worker(s) is (are) not eligigble for the requested extension of status .you will receive a seperate notice explaining one reason for the determination.

Please Help me Out
