Hi all,

I got my GC in VSC. I was living in MA then. Now I moved to NC. If I am correct, NC falls under TSC. Now when I apply for citizenship by sending my application to TSC, are there going to be any delay? Are there going to be any impact?

Thanks in advance for your responses,

no impact. file where indicated. the file will be sent to your local office anyways for the interview.

I agree. We got our GCs in Providence, RI (in 1996). Moved to Texas in 2000 (never submitted an AR-11). Submitted N-400 in Sept, 2005. My wife's application breezed through. My was held up because of file routing problems, but I don't think it had anything to do with that.

Actually there is an impact

I just asked an IO on the phone last week and she said that moving between multiple states may cause a delay because of routing problems may happen. Once you apply they request your file physically from prior location (not DO but Service Center) to new location. It is certainly a time issue as I understand.
