Got appeal from Gorvernment Lawyer

If the DHS attorney opposed the grant of asylum to you because of the material support issue, why did the judge overrule him/her?
 
The group is Chin National Front (CNF).

When the Judge granted the asylum status, the DHS attorney said no words, but she reserved and said she will report to her supervisor to ask some ideas or something. She never opposed me in the Court. I thought it would be fine.
 
I checked with my USCIS contacts regarding how these waivers work. Currently there is no process for EOIR applicants like you to get a waiver. The law gives only the DHS the power to issue a waiver. Immigration Judges are not part of the DHS. The USCIS and the EOIR are trying to create a process for EOIR applicants to get waivers.

Good luck. If your association with the CNF is the sole issue, then you should have nothing to worry about. They will spit out the necessary waivers sooner or later.
 
This is an old post but i put my question in here because you may not remember about my case. Last night i called the 800 number and said my next master hearing is on april 24. My Question is " Do i need to start again?" I mean do i need to go for individual hearing again coz the system said "your next MASTER hearing is ..." Or it is for only a new ORDER?
