My sister got her DV2005 visa 2 week ago, will be going there within a few day
The problem for her going there, when she received her first or notification letter,in the form ds-230,on part 10 and 11 she gave a permanent address in California,Los Angeles.at that she had no known people with whom she can go.Actually she is afraid of going alone.Now she found a friend who came from USA and is ready to take her along with him.that friend lives in New York.
My question is can my sister go to New York now?what will be the problem because her California,Los Angeles address was a permanent one mentioned
{(actually not parmanent,but she used that address(another friend living on that address) to fill up part 10 and 11 of form ds230)}? Can she go to New York now and tell that Los Angeles' friend to mail her green card in New York
or it(address changing) can be done at New York(especially at the airport)?will it cause any problem at the airport after her arrival????will it be difficult to get the SSN and green card?
