Getting Visa Stamp in the US for H1-B

Hi all,

I have a visa stamp valid till May 03, from my previous employer. I have a new H1 now

My questions are ..
Can I travel to India with this old stamp in my passport, and a new H1 visa in hand, or is it advisable to get a stamp with the new H1 and then travel.
Secondly, what documents do i need to submit in addition to the D156 and D157 forms to get a stamp from vermont (I mean within US)
Please provide the answer or direct me to where i can find it

U can travel with old unexpired visa and new approval. U can get the new H visa stamp from St. Louis DOS office by mail after coming back.
