General questions.

GotPR?

hi,
I've had some general questions in my mind for a while and am curious to hear what the truth is. Could someone clear my questions ?
1. Does nationality make difference on i485 adjudication ? Processing speed might be different per where the applicants are from, but I do not know if that impacts the decision on I485 approval.
2. I heard that in case that applicants get GC based on employment, sponsor company has rights to cancel approved GC. Is that true ?

Appreciate your input.

Simple answer is yes, it can. I-485 processing goes thru multiple steps. In general the nationality does not affect the core adjucation processing by USCIS. However, there are several security checks which can be affected due to nationality.

Whatever you heard in wrong. USCIS issues GC, therefore only USCIS has authority to cancel/revoke GC. However, employer can revoke its own petitions (e.g. I-140) and can complains about employee's intent - which in turn can result in GC cancellation by USCIS.

Does that mean sponsor company can revoke I-140 even after
GC is issued to applicant ?
