GC Stamped-Mom In US- SSN?

My Mom got the GC stamped at New Delhi and entered US on January 12th. In one of the forms I had checked for generation and assignment of her SSN.
Do I need to do anything or she will get it automatically? How long?

Also when does her actual green card come?

Both should come in around 3 weeks time.

Sorry to bring this up again. The GC came in the first week of February, The SSN still hasn't come.
Who should I call, follow up with ????
