Alright, I know I am way ahead of my time. I mean, I submitted my forms yesterday and I am already preparing for the interview
But anyways, I have a valid Venezuelan passport issued in 12/2004 and it expires in 12/2009
That is the passport where my I-94 is stapled to and my B1/B2 visa is stamp on.
It is the passport I have used for all of my entries to the US, and the passport that I wrote on all of my immigration forms submitted to USCIS.
I also have, another valid Venezuelan passport. That I got last year and it is Valid until 06/2014. I have never used this passport to leave my country or enter the US, or any other country. This one is an improved version of the old one, with enhanced security measures and biometric data.
When I go to my interview and it is the time for then to "hopefully" stamp on my passport the green card stamp... can I request it to be stamped on the new passport?
Otherwise, it will be stamped on a passport soon to expire (and renewing passports in Venezuela takes a good 6 months, in the country unless you pay some corrupt official around $1000)
Do I need that stamp on that old passport to travel or can I travel with the actual GC and the new passport?
Thanks for your input!
