Hi all...In the past few years i have applied to the green card lottery with usafis.org and i have tried usagc.org . I have received nothing but terrible services from them both.

I just signed up last week with www.USAGCLOTTERY.org and from what i have seen they offer the best prices and the best service. I recommend them if you don't want huge problems with your dv application for the 2011 lottery.

Anyways - just wanted to share this information with the rest of you, seeing as many people apply through dv lottery service sites.

They also gave me a promotional code to give out to my friends so they can get a 10% discount or something like that. If you want it, just PM me and i will send it to you...

I don't think that those services are fishy. For one they do the whole application for you according to specifications. And they are not expensive at all (and include plane ticket if you win).

Besides, who wants to sit, wait and remember to enter the lottery, till the end of the year when someone else can do it accurately and in a timely fashion.

If you can't do something personally, then go ahead and waste your money. And the web is fishy, btw. The DV2011 is far ahead, so let alone this topic..

It's weird. If you want something bad enough, you WILL remember to enter the lottery and it actually pays to do it yourself, you learn how to pay attention to detail, follow through instructions etc.
 
Fact is that many people who enter the site do not understand English fully. This site offers thorough information about the green card in over 9 different languages. Plus some people also do not know how to upload their photos correctly.

What i'm trying to say is that it is much easier to do it through sites such as www.USAGCLOTTERY.org - and a green card is not the only thing you get if you win...

As for the lottery being far away...the entry for 2011 is coming soon this year...
 
I can confirm... I just signed up to usagclottery.org with the promotional code Sizwe sent me and it was really easy and straight forward. They explain all the information very well. I also read some of their Terms and Conditions and they do not seem at all like a scam.

You do not have to go through a service site, but i reccommend it if you want your application done according to the correct specification, do it through usagclotttery.org

I know usagclottery.com and i have an uncle who used them - he was very happy with the services they offered. so i know my uncle don't lie because he's a stand up guy. so i know that this site is real.

I disagree. I just posted this to inform people of their options and what option i took. If you disagree with signing up on service sites then that is your own choice and i respect that completely. But don't go and saying its a waste of time without elaborating or talking with sense.

But this forum teaches all about DV no need to have third party services.
I doubt you are the same guy or in the same group who created many Names and try to support your own thing. :confused:

No, i am not the same person as anyone else. I just wanted to express my opinion of a certain service. I didn't mean to get argued with all day for it. Administrators, you can close this thread if you wish. I see it has just created arguments instead of help anyone.
 
It's a waste of money. Just ask friends, family, people online, etc. if they can help you out. It's free and there's probably plenty of information available in your native language.

Apart from that, these companies can make you jump through any hoop if they receive a NL on your behalf.

Listen, If you are the winner of the past DV program like 2009, 2008,... OR you win the DV2010 there is no need to apply for DV2011! then I think this topic is not suitable for this time at all.

I don't like third party sites for lottery because I enjoy sign up for lottery and track related news and receive the result myself.

Please stop and don't reply to this topic and ONLY think about DV2010 result!:cool:
