This is a US citizen parent case.
485/765/131 sent 8/1.
RD 8/4
ND 8/6
No FP notice ever received
Called USCIS cst svc several time to schedule appt, but in vain
Walk-in FP at San Antonio ASC 10/2 -- no problem to get through
FP LUD 10/12
Interview 10/14 -- very professional and courteous
Approved at the interview, passport stamped
GC rec'd 10/21.
The San Antonio office has to be the best in the country. And I agree with another poster that it is better than DORA in Dallas. The only (very minor) drawback: we had to pay for the AP and EAD upfornt, and they *did not act* on these two applications until the AOS interview. They only process the 131 and 765 if they cannot approve the AOS at the interview (mostly due to FP/namecheck delays). Now, they will have to send a denial on the 765 and 131. Not a big problem, however. I am most pleased and impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the San Antonio office.
Gracias a todos!
