GC-Holder applying for Un-Employement Benefits if Laid Off

Someone in this forum posted an article a few months back where he claimed a GC holder was stripped of his GC when he applied for unemployment benefits after a layoff.

Could anyone verify this?

Not a problem

I got my GC stamped on the day before I applied for unemployment ins (not even got the card- got it a month later). There will be some cross exchange of paperwork- but not to worry- they will pay you and it is your right. I have personally gone thru this and it does not seem to be a problem.
